BUILDING STRONGER PEOPLE FOR STRONGER MARRIAGES
As an arm of Lyons Creek Baptist Church, we desire to meet couples where they are and walk with them to carry out the mission of Matthew 28:18-20 in their marriages. Our desire is to celebrate, strengthen, and encourage marriages.
Our vision is to see marriages grow and mature in God's Word by reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church in the world for future generations to see.
What we do
Premarital counseling

Becoming aware of important issues that need to be addressed for developing a thriving marriage that lasts for a lifetime
Mentoring
Marriage mentoring can be vital in the lives of couples who are struggling, as well as couples who just need a jump-start or realignment to get back on track. By building up these couples, we build up their families, and ultimately the church itself that is made up of these couples and families. When they thrive, the church thrives.
restoration

Walking through life with the couple or individual.

Providing materials or putting the couple in contact with someone who can best meet the needs to restore their marriage.
Marriage Coaching
Christian marriage coaching is a faith-based approach to supporting couples in strengthening their relationships, drawing on biblical principles to address communication, intimacy, conflict resolution, and spiritual growth.
Small group studies
Engage with couples to grow their marriage and prepare them to grow their marriage relationship to serve and honor the Lord.
parenting classes
Facilitate classes to help parents raise their children in a way that grows the family relationship with Jesus Christ.
Marriage retreats
Marriage retreats at Lyons Creek allows couples to grow their relationship with each other and give them a fresh look at what God wants to do in and through their marriage. This is a time to just connect as a couple and grow in community with other couples.
R.e.a.l. events
A time to come together and build relationships and community with other couples, be encouraged, have accountability, and just laugh together through game nights, outings, and group marriage intensives.
